Description

T+Ultra is an solution for intracameral injection which combines two synthetic mydriatic agents (Tropicamide-anticholinergic, Phenylephrine-alpha sympathomimetic) and one local anesthetic (Lidocaine Hydrochloride) developed for rapid and sustained mydriasis throughout the surgery and maximizes the patient comfort during the surgery.

Dosage and Administration

Intracameral use. One ampoule for single eye use.

T+Ultra must be administered by an ophthalmic surgeon by injection into the eye before cataract surgery (cloudiness of the lens) in order to enlarge the pupil of the eye (mydriasis) and to obtain anaesthesia in the eye before the surgical procedure.

Indication and Usage

T+Ultra is indicated for cataract surgery to obtain mydriasis and intraocular anaesthesia during the surgical procedure. It is indicated for adults only.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substances (Tropicamide, Phenylephrine Hydrochloride and Lidocaine Hydrochloride) or to any of the excipients.

Warnings and Precautions

T+Ultra is not recommended in :

In combined cataract surgery with a certain type of eye surgery (Vitrectomy).

If the anterior part (anterior chamber) of the eye is shallow.

If you have a history of acute increase of eye pressure (acute narrow angle glaucoma)

Pregnancy :

T+Ultra should not be used during pregnancy.

Keep in cool dark place below 30°C. Protect from light and heat. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
